Each child will participate in a tryout and be drafted onto a team that will participate in the Recreational Pool of their Division. Fees include one practice per week, 6 Regular Season Games, Tournament and a team t-shirt
Cost Information (No Refunds; Multi-Child Discounts Available):
• $125 for Divisions 1-5
• $110 for Division 6

Important Dates to Remember:
**March 16: Tryouts will be held for Individual signups ONLY
ALL players must attend their scheduled evaluation, including coaches’ children. Coaches must attend their Division’s evaluation. The Draft will take place that same day. The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, March 16, 2024:
•9:00AM – Division 5 (1/2 Grades)
•11:30AM – Division 4 (3/4 Grades)
•2:00PM – Division 3 (5/6 Grades)
•4:30PM – Division 2 (7/8 Grades)
•6:30PM – Division 1 (High School)
**Please note there are no evaluations for Division 6 (Pre-K/K)**
**March 18: Practices Begin
**April 13/14: Regular Season Games Begin
**June 7, 8, 9: Tournament Weekend

It has become the standard among youth organizations to require volunteers working with children to complete a background check. The purpose of the required background check is to deter individuals who should not be working with young athletes from applying to volunteer. Additionally, it serves to identify any unsuitable criminal history of those individuals who do apply as a volunteer. Jeffersontown Youth Basketball cares about the protection of all players and feels confident that we can achieve our goal of making our organization the safest program in which our youth can enjoy the great game of basketball.
All Head Coaches are required to complete the background check and training before the season begins.
